Demander is a flexible, KPI-driven demand responsive transport technology platform. It is built with scalable modules to allow you to customise the system to include only what you need.
We built Demander to optimise peformance within a network. You can configure the performance requirements and the system will respond precisely to your settings, whether that is, for example, guaranteed pick-up time, or highest number of customer pick-ups.
We have built a very flexible base optimiser with open interfaces to avoid single-supplier lock-in. Pick and choose just just what you need from Demander. It will integrate with your existing systems or can be provided as a full-service solution.
We have built a world-class optimisation platform. Because we're an optimisation and analytics company, with a mathematics pedigree, it has been created based on our work with some of the world's most complex networks.
We'll work with you to determine how many of the features you need, and then we'll do the rest. The platform is flexible enough to work with any operation types.
Use the optimisation console to enter the details of your network. We'll work with you to interface with the core optimiser (through your own apps, or with ours) and then press "go".
Our data scientists have made the really complex simple with our leading algorithms. We take your configuration settings (e.g. what proportion of pick-ups need to be on time) and the routings will be created to always meet your targets.
We have included a powerful simulator so you can test how your network will perform, based on months of simulated operations, to ensure that your KPI rules are set properly for your network.
Demander is the platform that powers the Sydney On Demand Ferry.
An android app is loaded onto all-weather kiosks at the wharves. This is used to let customers know when the next ferry is arriving, and to book a trip if they don't have a smart phone.
The vessel app dynamically routes the ferry by telling the crew where to call at next, and what time they need to be there. Detailed customer pick-up information per stop is also available to the crew and control centre.
The on-vessel passenger information display shows the upcoming stops and dynamically changes when the routes change. There is also a GTFS-R publisher to share the vessel location with planning apps.
There is a control room suite of tools to control operations (e.g. where the vessel is, options to adjust the wharf opening hours in the event of service disruption).
Our Journey Planner tool allows support staff (e.g. a call centre) or the crew to add in bookings for customers who can't access the technology.
The control room can dynamically adjust the settings to enforce different performance criteria.
Simply control network or fleet changes at the press of a button in our admin console.
The Tranzer platform (3rd party Mobility as a Service app from our sister company) can also be used to book and pay for trips.
Lynxx is a global analytics and optimisation company. We work with some of the world's most complex networks and provide consultancy advice to analyse and optimise their operations. We often build analytics platforms or bespoke software tools to assist with optimisation.
For Demander, we took some of our tools for measuring performance and simulating a network, combined them with the Tranzer platform from our sister company, and some apps from one of our partners, and made a live technology platform for demand-responsive transport.
